Guru Nanak Sikh Academy eliminates connectivity challenges with a WiFi Upgrade
Guru Nanak Sikh Academy has upgraded its legacy network to a future-proofed wireless solution that meets its requirements for network performance, coverage and security.
The school's existing wireless network couldn't support its digital-first teaching services which include classroom Chromebook trolley systems, BYOD and future plans for 1-1.
The school needed a robust network that would deliver high-performance connectivity as its demand for devices and data-heavy learning tools increased. After recommendation, it turned to Redway Networks to design and deploy a cloud-managed multi-gigabit WiFi 7 and switching infrastructure.
From drop-outs to dependable connectivity
Redway Networks' engineering team conducted a WiFi survey using the latest Ekahau AI software tools to determine the school's network needs.
A Cambium WiFi 7 cloud-managed solution was deployed to deliver high-density network performance with faster WiFi speeds and improved network security. Alongside wireless performance Redway Networks strengthened security by transitioning the school to separate SSIDs with VLANs and role-based network access for students, staff, sixth-form and guests.
