The Trust's 4 schools were suffering with poor wireless network performance, causing poor coverage, slow speeds, and students spending 25% of lesson time trying to connect to the WiFi. In an educational age where digital resources and devices are integrated into learning, the Trust needed to identify causative factors and take action.

Mowbray's survey was done using Ekahau equipment and tools - the market leader in data accuracy. This also enabled us to present live data back to the Trust, and create a simulation based on live insight.

We identified several 'red' issues (high priority) which signified that the Trust's WiFi was not meeting requirements. Recommendations were given to fix these in the short and long term.

Undertaking the remedial works enabled Mowbray Education Trust to significantly improve their wireless performance without requiring a new network immediately, saving IT budget.
