Water Hall Primary School upgrades to reliable AI-driven WiFi 7
Water Hall Primary School has future proofed its network with the reliability and high-density connectivity of Cambium WiFi 7 with AI powered assurance, delivering fast, secure connectivity for staff and pupils.
The school's existing legacy network couldn't support future technology advancements and the school was awared a DfE Connect the Classroom grant to upgrade its WiFi and switching to a campus-wide network that meets the requirements of a 21st Century school. Following recommendations, the school turned to Redway Networks to design, install and support its new wireless and wired infrastructure
After a detailed onsite WiFi survey of the school's entire IT infrastructure using Ekahau, Redway Networks recommended a high-performance Cambium WiFi 7 solution to provide high-capacity reliability and performance, whilst staying within the schools budget.

To avoid inheriting legacy network assumptions and to maximise wireless coverage, Redway Networks designed the new WiFi for schools solution from a blank slate, even though a topology already existed.
Water Hall Primary was guided through the entire DfE Connect the Classroom process with one seamless, end-to-end solution – from initial funding forms, network assessments and Ekahau WiFi survey through to network audit, hardware, fibre optics, configuration and installation.
The school now has a robust Cambium WiFi 7 solution that leverages next-generation security and performance standards, with AI-driven features for simpler network management, improved performance and strong WPA3 security.
The new WiFi 7 network is delivering faster, more reliable wireless connectivity throughout the school, significantly improving the student learning experience. Water Hall Primary can now confidently plan future digital initiatives such as 1:1 devices and immersive learning, supported by the superior bandwidth and multi-link operation (MLO) of WiFi 7.
