Existing Network Cannot Support Scaling Devices

Following the shift to agile learning during the covid pandemic, the School had invested heavily in new laptops and student devices, but not in the IT infrastructure underpinning it. This started causing issues with speed and coverage.

In addition, the network was a mix of Ubiquiti and ad-hoc switches, causing a mixed-estate network that was cumbersome and time-consuming to manage. As a single-site academy, a unified platform was the sensible choice.

The Path to Superior Performance, from Survey to Install

An Ekahau survey was performed, providing the foundations for a new network design, which was presented to the school as a live simulation.

An on-site validation survey was performed immediately after installation, to check the network performance and ensure that plans aligned with the live site's requirements.
