E-ACT Briantcroft Academy benefits from a unified, advanced network
E-ACT Briantcroft Academy has replaced its outdated, legacy network with a cloud-managed Cisco Meraki network - designed and deployed by Redway Networks.
The school's legacy network was underperforming and with the trust's broader standardisation strategy, the school required a high-quality, rapid installation of its Meraki hardware.
The school reached out to wireless network and Meraki experts, Redway Networks to carry out a full upgrade of the school's wireless network and switching infrastructure.

Network performance has been transformed
The Meraki upgrade was carefully planned and carried out by Redway Networks during school holidays. There was no disruption to the network and Redway's engineers kept the previous network connected right up to the last minute with no loss of connection to important systems such as CCTV as this was important for safeguarding reasons.
Once Meraki was installed the technical improvements were immediate. The school is now benefitting from more reliable, scalable and centrally-managed network that is suited to modern classroom demands.
With the new solution, network coverage is excellent and the WiFi is super-fast even in classrooms where multiple laptops are in use.
