Wireless Network Transformed to Support Immersive Learning at Manor Lodge School
A focus on engaging, interactive learning for students at Manor Lodge school meant an upgrade to its wireless network to support online learning. Manor Lodge is an independent school with 450 pupils housed in a grade 2 listed building on a large 26 acre campus which presented a challenge for its new WiFi deployment.
The School's 10-year-old mixed wireless estate was unable to support the connectivity and bandwidth the school required to support its ICT needs. In addition, day-to-day network management tasks were both complex and time-consuming. The school required a new wireless network that would support its IT needs for robust, connectivity.
A Foundation for Future Learning with Robust Wi-Fi
Supporting the school's goals for immersive, interactive educational experiences for students relied on a totally connected campus with scalability, as well as a network that would not require additional IT budget to manage.
Working to improve performance and longevity, whilst simultaneously streamlining network management was an aspect of the project that was immediately a priority.
